We Serve - 1.3 million Lions members in 200 countries and geographic areas answer the needs that challenge the communities of the world. Lions tackle tough problems like blindness, drug abuse prevention and diabetes awareness.

Global neighbors - Lions members—men and women—provide immediate and sustained relief in time of disaster and offer long-term assistance to those in need. Lions collect and recycle eyeglasses for distribution in developing countries and treat millions of people to prevent river blindness.

Community Leaders - Lions improve the quality of life in their local communities by building parks, supporting hospitals and establishing water treatment programs.

For nearly 90 years, whenever there is a need at home or around the world, Lions members are there to helpWe Serve.

We Serve - Among the causes Greenwich Lions support are The Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation, The Lions Low Vision Center at Greenwich Hospital, Voluntary Services for the Blind of Fairfield County, The Hardy Finch Large Print Library at Greenwich Library, and The Connecticut Lions Eye Research Foundation.

Neighbors Greenwich Lions—men and women—collect and recycle eyeglasses for distribution in developing countries.  The club presents the annual John A. Clark Award to a member of the Greenwich Police Department to recognize his or her outstanding performance in the line of duty.

Community Leaders - Lions have improved the quality of life in Greenwich by building Lions Park, operating the food tent at The United Way of Greenwich Annual Septemberfest , and serving as parade marshals for the Sound Beach Volunteer Fire Department's Centennial.  Since 1923, whenever there is a need at home or around the world, Greenwich Lions members are there to helpWe Serve.
